Certain parts of the body are more popular for women’s tattoos than others. The pain involved in each type of tattoo is an issue as well. Breast tattoos are still poplar with the ladies and many men find them sexy as well. Keep in mind that you may sag with age distorting the tattoo. The breast tattoo can usually be hidden for work easily and most women opt for a smallish, feminine tattoo there.

The lower stomach – front hip area is also very popular. A tattoo there can be seen with a bathing suit or underwear yet is concealable otherwise. There are many possibilities to have matching tattoos on each side as well. Many men find this sexy as a tattoo in that area seems to point to the sensual area of the female body.

The top of the foot is relatively popular as a tattooed area on females, despite the pain involved. You can get very pretty designs done there that will look good when you are in bare feet on the beach or otherwise, as well as when you are wearing sandals all summer long.

Those are probably the most popular spots for ladies tattoos, but trends come and go and who knows where the next hot spot will be. Probably the two top spots right now are the lower back and the ankle area. It is very important that you plain well for this permanent adornment to your flesh.
